Before doing that specific quest I think destroyed all the speakers in the area while doing the previous quest, so when I had to do this specific quest there were no beeping noises. I'd say go load an older save game and clear the speakers in the kitchen area and then you may move on to this quest.

That's a really bad thing to do in a Beth RPG. Manual save in different slots frequently. There is only 1 autosave slot also, so if you can't see a save in your load screen you can't go back.

no reason to quit the game because you screwed up with too few saves. use the console and cheat your way past the problem, then resume as normal.
The game gives the player 1000 save slots for a reason, eh? :goldidol: :summerskull:

The game keeps one backup copy of the previous autosave called autosave.fos.bak
Just rename it and get rid of the .bak extension and you'll be able to load it.

TThere is one for Operation Anchorage in TTW that adds a science check so you can just skip the simulation and get the goodies. I only did it because the Readius mod flips out when you use a simulator.

But I don't get what you achieve from skipping all of Dead Money, do you even get the rewards at the end in that mod like the OA one?
