New Vegas keeps crashing
I got most of my performance mods from this guide (I think, it's been a while since I installed them so I don't remember all the ones I installed but I know I have NVSE and 4gb patch for a fact) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2373580270
I've also got NVSR and NVAC installed as well. I have some other mods installed but they are all disabled. The game still constantly crashes and freezes. I have another computer with all the same mods (Unless I'm forgetting something) and it works mostly fine, only crashing every once in a while which is pretty normal with New Vegas.

The problem is that it's constantly freezing/crashing. Especially when I quicksave (which I do frequently). Maybe there's some problem with quicksaving? I'm not sure.

I've replaced NVSR with NVTF like another discussion post suggestion and I'll update if that fixes things.

Follow Viva New Vegas[vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com] instead.

NVSR crashes the game on anything newer than Win7. That's why it's literally the only mod in history where the Nexus staff put a warning on the mod page AND the comments. No idea how people miss the warnings.

NVAC also causes additional crashing at this point - all the crashes it was capable of preventing are now fixed in other stability mods. The only thing it really does these days is conflict with other things.

I would recommend follow the Viva New Vegas guide instead of that Steam guide. It's better researched by people with much more expertise.

NVTF seems to have fixed it and Ill look at replacing NVAC. Download NVSR a while ago and was probably just not reading or simply didn’t care.

You're not the only one, somehow tons of people still end up with NVSR - at this point, Nexus should just take it down.
