Fallout new vegas Nexus mods not showing up
No mods for Fallout New Vegas are showing up, none at all. I've tried uninstalling the game, uninstalling the mods, even resetting my computer itself to see if that worked. Nothing. I just get a red exclamation mark error, and any interface mods like MCM don't show up at all. Any help in regards to that?

Your issue is likely that you haven't applied archive invalidation, which is needed for anything that replaces vanilla asset files. Look for a toggle somewhere in your mod manager.

Archive invalidation was activated, and it still didn't work.

Then it's more likely an installation error on your part. Red exclamation marks are caused by meshes missing or not being in the right place. UI mods like MCM need UIO if you run more than one of them.

Check around to see that everything is where it needs to be. Game plugins go straight to the data folder, and meshes, textures and other asset files belong in subfolders. Most mods are going to be packaged in a way that you can just copy their contents into your data folder and merge with existing folders.

I've been using NMM for a while and no issues until now. I'm using it the same way I always have, and I have NVSE, and installing how I should, manually or with the Install button on Nexus, none of them work.

Disable and re-enable archive invalidation. Sometimes the engine just forgets to use it.

I have tried that. No use.

I have a different problem. Everything works, But MCM still wont show up. I have mods that utilize it, but it just doesn't show up. No errors, its just simply not there.

MCM needs to be installed fairly early to make it work. The only things that should always precede it are font modifier mods and Project Nevada.

I have tried this and some of the clutter or visual assets of the mod don't load, for example a bin/trash can, shows up now after install, and the next day after booting the game again it reverts back to the original bin. Happened a lot in my game.

Or Maybe it's my unit? kinda old-ish...

This thread is 6 years old. I haven't seen talgaby even post here in a couple years now.

Start a new thread for your issue, with details on what mod manager and mods are the issues.
