I played OK for 2 days and now the game keeps stuck on load screen

Hi all... the game keeps blocking on load screen after I click continue > yes.
Is there a way to fix ? I just set windowed mode to avoid PC sign out each time, but the window is not well centered and the game keeps blocking on load screen after I click continue > yes, most of the times. I tried Windows 7 compatibility mode, or checked game files several times... but it changes nothing.

What you need to do is load an earlier save. I had this happen to me a few times, and that did the trick.

I am on Windows 11 up to date, CPU i7 12700KF, 3600 Mhz, GPU Nvidia Gforce GTX 1070, RAM 32 Go (2 x 16 Go) DDR4 3200 MHz

Worked once or twice then ... stuck again on load screen. This game is unplayable on Windows 11. I suppose they prefer people to buy new games.

Start a new game. Skip cutscenes. Load your original game once you're in the doc's office. Works every time. If it doesn't work, then your save is corrupted.

I haven't played this game much at all on windows 11 but I had this bug on my windows 10 PC. I would keep alternating between hitting continue and load save and eventually it would load my most recent save no matter what eventually, even if it took multiple attempts. Never took more than 3-4 attempts.

I went through the same experience as you, went through the above process today, and have had no issues yet.
