I still get blown up at Nellis Air Force Base, even though I'm idolized by the Boomers?

I'm finally idolized by the Boomers, and I want that armor off that dead guy I first found out there. But they still blast me with bombs. Is this a glitch?

Happened to me once. They weren't actually targetting ME but their own children who wandered into the killzone :D Since I didn't have a mod installed to allow childrens deaths, they kept blasting away constantly, with the kids just standing there doing nothing.
Try fast-travelling somewhere else and then back. If this doesn't help, try fast-travelling there at night - the kids should be asleep, probably dreaming of artillery shells dropping on their heads :)

Sounds like it might be a glitch. Unless the secretly hate you.

Try going somewhere and waiting for a few days then coming back, or running from their base and not the other direction.

One of the best features of the pc version: console. Just put god mode on (type tgm in console) and there you go. There's really no need for console workaround shenanigans on PC :D

Well… normally I'd say I don't like cheating, but in this case I agree. Why tire yourself trying to circumvent a bug when you can console-command your way out of it?
