Archive Invalidation will not work, no matter what.
Iv been trying for 3 days to get archive invalidation to work. I've tried all the programs and files on the nexus that claim to affect it. I've tried several mod manager inbuild function (NMM, Vortex, FOMM, MO) but nothing I try will work. I'm trying to install NMC hi-rez texture but the roads and signs stay vanilla while the other textures change. Why is this happening, I can't think of anything else to do to get this to work. Can anyone help? Cheers.

I was having the same issues earlier today and I was waiting for someone to post a fix on this thread but in the meantime I found something that worked for me. I installed and ran this program from the nexus, while also disabling the archive invalidation in the managers.

I literally tried everything else today so if this doesn't work for you then I honestly don't know what else you could try, but I hope this works for you.

Are your textures set to high in-game? ALl replacers depend on that.

Your probably over-writing NMC. When you install one of the NMC high files, it’ll ask to override the previous install. Don’t do that, ignore all. Its stated in the Mods installation guide on Nexus.

NMC wasnt the problem, I was manually installing the textures. It was Archive invalidation.

Wow this actually worked.

For me, there was the button for it in vortex, but it didn't do anything. Body replacers, even after this fix, claimed it could not find the required files, but it did end up working after using that program.
