got any money you can spare me then?
New Vegas Stutter Remover is pretty much essential - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/?
Also the 4Gb loader helps prevent crashes -http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061/?
and then there is NVAC -http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/?
Those are the 3 that I use. In addition to an updated version of the FOMM that integrates the 4GB loader directly into it. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54991/?
Although I dont have any problems running Fallout on my PC. I do run into problems with tons of texture mods and ENB and circumventing the 2.5GB (or 4Gb with hacks) limit problem since Fallout NV is a 32 bit program. I've managed to run it using 4.5+ GB (which shouldnt be possible technically...dont ask me how I did it because I dont even know).
+1 so much this.
Before I got an i7-4790k, my AMD 8350 had horrendous performance in Fallout NV compared to the i7, yet the i7 has (theoretically) less cores than the 8350. I only say theoretically because of hyperthreading but it's more like simulated cores.
AMD really sucks for games like Fallout and the Elder Scrolls and any games that use a lot of CPU power, including RTS games. It's fine for regular FPS games though. Anything that uses more of the GPU.
So yeah, you need a better PC OP. Get something with an Intel processor. The average intel processor is better than anything AMD spits out.
op prob bought pc parts or pre built computer seeing as thread is over four years old
u can never know
