Failed to initialize renderer. Unknown error creating the Gamebryo Renderer.

So I recently reinstalled Fallout NV and i was installing an enb called ''Melancholy Dust ENB''. But then Fallout crashed and the error in the title appeared.
The game works with the enbdev enb alone, but when i try to get any community created enb to work with the game, it just crashes and the error in the title appears. This has never happened to me before.

Try windowed mode or just give up on ENB and use Dynavision 3 instead.

90% of those cases are because it cannot properly hook into the game because there already is a d3d9.dll being used instead:
- Geforce Experience has one
- Razer Synapse comes with a process specifically for World of Warcraft that also has one

Rule when using ENB:
- uninstall Geforce Experience, leave ONLY the main driver and PhysX driver installed
- if you have a rodent/keyboard/gamepad from Razer:
go to (default directory used in example) C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer and remove the folders InGameEngine and Razer Services, leave only "Razer_Common_Driver" and "Synapse" alive

by the way this is also the cause of the infamous "Infinite ENB"
(an error that launches infinite clones of enbhost.exe)

- some, not all, Presets (thats why not the default standard ENB) come with SweetFX (mainly for SMAA), if that is the case: delete dxgi.dll and dxgi.fx

Ive now found out that it doesnt work only when i try to go fullscreen. If i go windowed it works. Ive deleted Razer Services, but i couldnt find any folder called InGameEngine. Im a bit reluctant of deleting anything from the geforce folder, because im afraid i might ♥♥♥♥ something up with my display.

Just stay in windowed. The game is significantly more stable that way. There are at least three different solutions for borderless window on New Vegas.
