Getting NVSE and FONV 4GB to work with the PL/CZ/RU version of New Vegas?
Right, so, the bolsheviks at Valve decided that everybody living in Eastern Europe must speak either Polish, Czech or Russian, and therefore should receive a separate version of the game with those languages. Which wouldn't be that big of a deal, since the game is idemthical to the EN version only it comes with an optional plugin containing said languages.

Problem is, NVSE doesn't seem to work with this version, probably because it uses a different Steam App ID (why the ID should matter to NVSE is beyond me. but apparently it does). The 4GB patch supposedly loads it automatically, except that's a load of rubbish because it doesn't.

I just played 20 hours this weekend on the Eastern version and I just dropped NVSE in it. Do you use NVSE after 4.22?

I use 5.0b3. I tried 5.0b2 as well, no difference.

Well, then try the ancient method of creating a shortcut for NVSE with the -SteamAppId 22490 command line parameter.

I've already done that...

So… let's start from the top.

Did you install it correctly? All .exe and .DLL files successfully unpacked to the game's root folder, next to falloutnv.exe.

Used an actual decompressor like 7Zip or PeaZip, not some outdated dinosaur like WinRar or WinZip (that actually falsely report it being extracted, even though all files are just placeholders).

Checked if it is actually loaded by typing getnvseversion in the game's console.

Didn't know about that. I was actually using mods to see if it works. Turns out the stupid Mod Organizer wasn't actually installing the plugins in the game's Data folder, so they wouldn't load from the normal & 4GB launchers.

Yeah it works.

MO is great, but I suggest dropping NVSE, 4GB, NVSR, and NVAC into the real folder, and only use UIO, Lutana, JIP, and Enhanced Camera from within MO.

Can't use NVAC 'cause I'm using TTW. I've switched back to FOMM and NMM 'cause MO was getting on my nerves.

I just played TTW with NVAC last weekend… Why wouldn't a DLL injector work with something that is essentially just a large mod?

Confused with NVEC, my bad.
