R.I.P Victor.
So, I was walking through the mojave when I saw some lakelurks. I killed them, but they fell into the lake nearby, so I dived down to find them.

What I found shocked me.

Victor. Dead as a dust bunny, just at the bottom of the lake!
Did this happen to any of you? This is before I got to vegas, btw.

Did he have good loot on him?
And he definitely should not be dead, something's probably wrong.

Victor is immortal by script, a little less so as Yes Man (who cannot be removed from the game in any way by the player unless using the console or a mod).

After you finish the main quest in Boulder City, forget the name, Victor will usually appear when you are continuing on to New Vegas, he will then continue on to New Vegas. If there are Lakelurks or even Raiders along his path to New Vegas by the lake they will usually kill him. He will appear again in front of the Lucky 38 and if you say "I thought you were dead" he will tell you that if one Victor is killed he just gets reinstalled into another Victor. About the only loot you will get off him if you find him dead is a 9mm pistol and some 9mm ammo. At least that is all I have ever found.

He probably just rolled into some aggressive wildlife and got killed while on his way to chat with you. He's only "immortal" in the sense that he simply hops over into another protectron unit when killed.
he can die wandering the wastrs using one of his bodies its also happend to me

Technically nor Victor and Yes Man are "immortal". When the securitron their AIs are stored are destroyed, they simply upload to a new one.
But you can "kill" Victor if you have the Robotics Expert perk, if you disable him he will not reapper in another securitron robot and will vaniush from the game.

Unlike your crappy, SOB, POS, a-hole dad in FO3.
Gosh, after leaving Vault 112 (Tranquility Lane) and arriving at Jefferson Memorial, learning how selfish the bastard was, the only thing I could think off was... let's shoot the motherf****.

And the game denied me that. :steamsad:

I set deadbeat dad to non essential, decapitated him on Tenpenny's balcony, threw off his body, put his head in Tenpenny's chair, and watched the sunset with the pr!ck.
