Can a Samsung laptop run this?
My Samsung laptop won't let me check the model or graphics cards and processors in this but, should I try and buy this just to see if it works?

Ok, my professor is an Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU B950 @ 2.10 GHz

Are you running W10? If so, go to Settings>System>About to see your specs.

If you're running W7, click on 'My Computer' ensure you're on the window that shows your dirves (not the contents of a drive, all the drives themselves), one of the options in the toolbar in that window should get you to a spec page.

Ok, looking through the hardware and stuff, I can happily say this laptop can actually run fallout new Vegas! If it turns out it actually can't through, thank god for steam refunds

You're using a stone age machine. Your integrated also isn't really up to par, regardless of what steam's minimum/recommended settings are telling you.

Go ahead and try, but don't expect miracles.

Well, that is why steam refunds exist right?

I get 30 FPS outdoors and 40-60 inside on a 2.16 GHz Celeron processor with 64MB of VRAM on an old notebook when I tried it out. On all low. :)

The CPU part would run it around 30 fps, but I'm not sure about that iGPU either. I know NV runs on a HD 4000 chip, but I doubt that '11 CPU has that.

It has 'intel HD graphics,' which isn't the same as the actual very old intel HD graphics, as this is a scaled down version of intel HD graphics 2000.

Alright, that's good. I don't mind having 30 FPS, I honestly can't tell the difference between that and 60 fps

What kind of settings and performance do you get?

I've only tested it on all low so far but even with that its on par with console level of performance

Now for the next question, if I can run New Vegas, can I run Skyrim?
Probably a better question for the Skyrim forum.

You can't tell the difference between 30 and 60? Damn dude.
