In game time is broken
My in game timer is broken. It says roughly -27k pm. The game is always daylight but thinks it is always night time, some shops cannot be used because of this and all npcs always try to goto their beds. But some parts of the game think its daytime, like shops will be open but the owners will be in bed

Then most likely some mods (or some console commands) really messed up time and/or world space information.

Even after removing all mods, deleting my game from steam and redownloading it. It stayed that way

Okay so set "GameHour" to 0 typed just like that, changed the time to 0 and waiting an hour reset the broken clock to broken again >_< Trying to change it to 8am froze the game though. Idk whats up with this

Deleting the game and reinstalling won't help as it is an information stored in the save file itself. If that console command didn't work, then you most likely managed to completely ruin that save file.

And by that you mean you manually deleted the game folder and all INI files from Documents?

Yes, thats what I had meant. Then searched the computer for every trace of Fallout NV that was left. Even my mods folder and such. Then redownloaded the game

And it persisted even on a new game? o.0
That is… it should not happen, ever.

Scrapped off everything, fresh install, and a wrong number in the time… yeah, definitely. If you had other problems, I'd say the CPU has some really strange calculation errors, but I haven't heard about anything like that since the old Intel Pentium 4 chips.

GeneralGrey017 Oct 4, 2016 @ 10:06am
