WARNING TO ALL NVIDIA USERS!
Hi,
if you're using Windows 10 and a Nvidia graphics card and you've updated both, you might nor be able to play FONV anymore. But don't worry there is a simple solution, you just need to download any driver pre 370 version (simply google Nvidia driver 368 and download it from the offical nvidia site) and install it. Hopefully this helped some of you!

no point rolling back drivers to and oldert version it will make fallout 3 and new vegas work yes but it will cause problems in different games and less stability end of the day if M$ cant get their stuff together same with nvidia its totally pointless buying the game or even using windows 10 all together.

No, it won't. It will only make some of the brand new releases run a little slower than they should.

I hope you realise that this happens only on NVidia cards. Neither AMD, nor Intel graphics seem to be affected. So how is this MicroSoft's fault?
(The numerous Anniversary Update fuckups… THOSE are MicroSoft's fault.)

No need to... just download the intel graphics bypass fix on the fallout 3 nexus, it'll trick the game into thinking it's a GeForce 7900 GS and fix the game. Just drop that d3d9.dll on the folder and enjoy.
Thanks, im going to try that but I think I did try that at some point and it didnt work, it actually crashed me on start up, somthing about not being able to find something in the library, I think, but im not 100% sure htat it was this .dll I tried. Here is my post on this, if ya wanna take a gander.

It's because you're running the anniversary update and a WDDM 2.1/Shader Model 6.0 driver. Oblivion works because it has SM2.0 data, but HDR is utterly broken and so are all SM3.0 shaders, which makes that game look particularly bad. The Fallout games run on the same engine but don't have them so that's why they crash upon load. The menus do not actually require a pixel shader, apparently Microsoft changed a specification in the new driver model that broke old games.
So, I know about how to install/uninstall hardware and networks and stuff as a slightly below entry level technician but I am confused at what you said. I understand that I have Windows 10 anniversary edition as I got for Xbox PLay Anywhere (still needs to actually drop and not just say "this game is unavailable) and I understand that I have the latest updated driver for my Nvidia Geforce GT 750m but I did not understand what you said, so will it work or naw?

Hm, I don't know if Kepler cards got WDDM 2.1 drivers (they're DirectX 11 hardware and don't support the newer feature levels), but I can't quite say, I have a GT 650M on my laptop (it's the same video card you have, yours is just rebranded) but I haven't turned it on in months...

But like I edited the previous post, my next step to what you wrote on that thread would be getting rid of your Fallout.ini, making a new one and manually reconfigure it for any mods you may use until you find the culprit, it's a drag but that should do the trick.
Im gonna try the fix first then see if its a mod because it shouldnt be... I even uninstalled and deleted all mods then tried and it didnt work after both uninstalling and reinstalling my game
