More Realistic Damage Mod Maybe?
Hey guys,

is there a mod outside where i can get more realism when it comes to damage of the weapons?

I started my second playthrough now on very hard with the hardcore mode and its not even hard, its unfair and unplayable.

for 1 "Boss" enemy i need like 200 shots of 9 mm bullets.
i mean i like it very hard but this is just stupid. i thought if i put the game to hard enemys deal more damage and thats cool for me but i didnt thought that i fight an army of terminators who can survive 15 grenades in their faces...

Would apreciate your help.

Bye

There's Moolio's Remix, I don't have a link for it but you can look it up. It's the most complete realism mod I've seen so far.

Zanzkebar in this Mod is there an adjusted weapon damage setting or something because it looks like that just the crippling part and grenades were overhauled..

In a sense yes, the damage multipliers have been increased depending on the body part. Arms and legs are still at regular damage but they get crippled easily, torso shots are at a 2x damage multiplier, and head shots have a 4x damage multiplier.

These vunerabilities apply to you as well though, so you'll have to be more cautious in combat.

Ok i guess then its still unplayable on very hard because enemies will headshot you and you will die. will just make you load your game 100 times if you fight vs a boss. on normal or easy the game is too easy but on very hard the game is like i said fighting terminators...

Maybe i will find something on the nexus mod forum.
thanks anyway

You asked for a realistic mod, and getting shot in the head (again) and dying is usually considered quite realistic. So shouldn't you be happy that your wish was fulfilled? ^^
Or you meant "realistic damage dealt by me but let me stay immortal like in the vanilla game?". :)

Yeah, not sure what exactly you're looking for as that mod does exactly what you want. It keeps combat quick as headshots kills pretty much anything in one shot. That of course includes yourself but then that makes you keep in cover and wait until enemies need to reload or you have an opening, as well as encouraging stealth.

The Problem will be the Lower Levels where you will shoot and the bullet will go 1 metre in away from your target. late game i think it will be pretty op if you can aim and hit actually what your aiming for.

its strange.

You could always get the Realistic Aiming Mod[www.nexusmods.com] to permanently even the playing field between you and the ai.

Realistic aiming is something I highly recommend. I've got mine set up to penalize my aim when my character is too hungry, thirsty or tired as well as a base level wobble that points in the Guns skill goes towards reducing. Pretty nice mod and works really well with those early level encounters where you're more fighting to survive rather than being an avatar of death.

I'd also recommend removing mouse acceleration as well, a quick google will find the lines you need to drop in your fallout.ini file.

Realistic Aiming with every option enabled on stock settings… Mmm…
The feeling when you can't hit a human from five meters if you shoot from the hip. I love that mod. The enemies still hit you more than they should, but it's still one of my favourite difficulty/realism mods. Would highly recommend it along with Realistic Reloading. (ANd Realistic Weapon Names, though that is purely cosmetic, but doesn't conflict with anything.)
