Carry weight and keep achievements

Is there a way or a mod to increase carry weight to unlimited or near bouts and still keep acheievements active?

Thank you. I was going to use the console then save and exit and load the save but I still think it disabled the achievements like that.

this should do you. read the posts. i read about half the first page and it does appear that it will still let you ear your acheivements.

here's a couple pages worth of weight related mods. you might find something you like more.

Easy.

1) Open console.
2) Type this with no quotes: "player.setav carryweight [number you want]"
3) Check Pip-Boy to see if it worked.
4) Save game.
5) Restart the game.
6) Profit!

you guys sure he won't lose his acheivement progress doing it? i couldn't care less about them, so when i have to use the console, no big deal. this guy wants to get them though.

Yeah, no worries. Saving and restarting the game after you use the console reverts it. I can confirm because I've had to no clip many times and I still get achievements. BUT, if he's afraid to use the console, he can use the mod you posted. It's really up to him.

You can setav your stats to godlike levels, quit, reload the save and get all the achievements you want. This console/achievement thingie is more of an inconvenience than a serious prevention system. Probably that's why they removed this in Skyrim: you cna use god mode and have all the achievements in the world with no worry.

Oh wow that will be super handy. Can you do the same thing to different skills with it still not disabling the achievements?

Yes, you can setav every skill to 100, then quit and play normally for achievements.
Heck, if you download CheatTerminal mod, you don't even have to use the console for that, it does it freely.
