losing weapons after exiting casino

so i just noticed that the weapons that i store on my companions (mainly boone) is missing after i left one of the casino in the strip, is it a bug or is there anyway to get the item back?

he have the unique sledge hammer Oh baby! with him and several other expensive weapons i got from legion assassin party that i was planning to sell so it would be a fcking waste if i were to loose them, and i don't like abusing the console command to spawn a new one

I could be a bug but try findingthe weapon safe and check if the weapon is there

Very ancient and very known glitch. Pretty much any community patch pack made in the past seven years fixes it natively.

i just downloaded the mod to fix it on my new install of the game again. just google casino weapons fix mod new vegas.
