H E L P !!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone. I need help with a problem, I think caused by myself, regarding the skills of the game character. I see that I can explain myself better than I can. So, playing in New Vegas, I used the trick to get the maximized skills. I put them all at 10 through the "modpcs" command. But when I did the Lonesome Road 's last mission, the game would have added a skill point to put where I want: strength, agility, charisma to understand each other. But since all the values are already at 10, the extra point can not be put. The fact is that if I do not put a damn point does not close the screen so I can not play anymore. I tried to remove a point somewhere but did not do it, to continue I was forced to leave the last mission "kill of Ulysse" to finish. Is there a way, or a command to bypass the thing? Can you somehow avoid putting the point that gives you? Or maybe go back to 9 to be able to put it? Please help me !!!!! I do not want to redo all the way from scratch. I do not know maybe there is a similar command to "modpcs" that allows me to go back from 10 to 9, or something that makes me close the skill screen without having to put the point in an obligatory way. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

the other option could be to completly remove ALL levels via console commands(if possible been a long time since i played NV)

Open the console command with ~, then type in this 'player.modav charisma -1'. Your charisma should drop by 1.
If you still want achievements, then save the game and close to desktop then reopen. Then try to finish the quest.

I had a similar problem. Decided to choose Intense training after modding all my stats to 10. Had to restart.
The post above doesn’t work, it will still show as 10. Haven’t found a fix myself, sorry to say.

You needed reduce your stat before completing final LR quest.Ideally before confronting Ulysses.

You mean the console command reducing doesn't work for you?

And just curious as to what would possess you to take intense training when your special are already maxed.

I solved the problem! Using "setspecialpoints" and writing 69 instead of 70. Easy and painless. The fact that the quest is completed or not does not affect in any way.

It does reduce the stat, but it will still show as 10 in the menu so you are still stuck.
Just wanted to know what would happen. Didn't lose anything

If someone who plays on a PC is interested in: to increase the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. up to 100, or whatever you want, you write "player.modpca" followed by the name (in english) of the special (for example Luck) and the amount we want. To modify the Skills we use "setspecialpoints" writing below the TOTAL of the points we want to use, which at most are 70 (the skills can reach a maximum of 10). Finally to add the perks (extra skills) we use "player.addperk" followed by the code. All codes are easily found on Fallout Wiki under perks.

Ah, a rookie. You still thought SPECIAL stats mean anything in the game.
At any rate, when you see that pesky window, just use the command called CloseAllMenus in the in-game console.
Or just drop one of your stats before that window wants to pop up.

Well yes! I'm a newbie !! In fact, it's not really my kind of game. I downloaded it because I love working on the appearance of the character and in Fallout you can make thousands of faces and physical aspects. If it's driving games I'm a champion, but the games you go around shooting in claustrophobic places start me upset :) In this way at least I survive a few minutes more. And then, why not, since those who have it with me are always at least six, I prefer to shoot and beat much stronger than them. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I will keep it in mind.
