2. Download the mod.
3. Put the mod on the Data folder or if it has instructions then follow that.
4. Open the mod manager and activate it.
5. Open the game through the mod manager.

Download New Vegas Script Extender(NVSE)

Otherwise, use NMM and click on the "Mod Manager Download" button. Et voilà...
Only one mod? Go manual, kow that we all know how to do it. ;-))))))
But if you're about to use many mods, go with a mod manager.
I use NMM + LOOT, and everything is (almost) automatic.
