New Vegas Stutter Remover [NOT WORKING]

Hey guys,

I'm having an extremely troubling time trying to get this fix to actually fix.

What I've tried:
Installed NVSE and extracted it to the directory; however, in the guide it instructs me to create a new folder called NVSE in the Data folder in order to correctly install NVSR... but this folder already exists as "nvse" (in lower case, not upper as instructed) - am I doing something wrong here?
I've also tried using Vortex and my game just straight up crashes.
I've read about a setting in the configuration file of NVSR causing the issue, when altering this, my game crashes...

I'm just getting frustrated at this point and all I want is an up-to-date guide on how to install NVSR from the beginning (i.e. before NVSE has been installed).

Do you have Windows 10? If so drop NVSR and swtich to the New Vegas Tick Fix (NVTF) instead. It's much better. Just download it and drop it into your NVSE folder, then you're good to go.

Just so I understand correctly, did you extract every file and folder in the NVSE download into your game folder?

This is the mod they told you about.

This came out fairly recently, it is essentially an NVSR replacer as long as you do can replace its memory stabilisation (ENBoost) and frame limiter (MSI Afterburner). It works out of the box.

Anyone ever notice being unable to spin the camera around your character with either NVSR or this mod active? I'm trying to figure out why this happens and what settings would be causing this.
