And it's unclear whether or not Bethesda considers 76 canon. I figured it was meant to be a non canon for fun game, but I don't know anymore. Haven't heard official word on it yet, but I think Bethesda is still considering it canon, even though it completely butchers previous lore (not like that stopped them with fallout 3 and 4)
For starters, this one doesn't have so many plot holes that it creates a giant black hole in the series' canon that essentially sucks up all logic in so many events that it ruins half the series by trying to force logical explanations back into these events that essentially ruins about 80% of the entire series.
Y'know, no biggie.

In fact, I'd say F:NV is more true to the Fallout lore than Bethesda's games.
