Is 100 sneak worth it?

I have 73 sneak at lvl23 and I was wondering if maxing it out makes it work better

Just snipe things from afar or shot them with a shotgun up close.

Sneak is ♥♥♥♥ vanilla in every 3d Fallout game. Dont bother.

I do believe Sneak is as broken as it was in Skyrim when it comes to Fallout 4.

You can hide and snipe from afar. If your weapon is quiet enough you can remain hidden. If you wanted to do a melee sneak build, just keep in mind that any companions will screw it up. Also the upgraded stealth suit in OWB will give you +25 to sneak.

100 means you can sneak past anyone (full speed with silent running, or crawl speed otherwise) as long as you do not enter their 190-degrees field of view. If you play a melee character or just do not want to bother killing everyone, it is handy.

Go go stealth field! I rarely invest points in stealth; only if I want one of the perks it gates for some reason.
