The only mods that are guaranteed to work are all made specifically to play nice with tale of two wastelands.

There's a lot of stuff on their homepage.
It's a lot more work than people think getting it to work.
2) If you use ModOrganizer 2 as your mod manager, yes. If not, then no, TTW is a mod that requires early installation. (As in, being first, usually.)
3) Yes. It roughly halves your performance.
4) TTW's own site has install instructions and it has an automated installer that created a FOMOD compatible with all installers except ModOrganizer 2 (you simply add the mod manually there).
5) Right now, TTW makes Old World Blues unplayable (the startup quest will hang forever, no fix still).
