Will uninstalling remove all my mods and reset the folders?
Yeah so erm. I wanna pretty much have a fresh fallout nv, before the mods or levels. Could uninstalling be the way to do that? If not then how?

No, uninstalling will only remove the vanilla game files. All the mod files will remain in the game's directory.

To do a clean uninstall, you'd have to uninstall the game first, then delete all the mod files in the game's directory.

Or just delete the entire folder?

Yeah, whichever.
The reason I wanna do this as well is because I'm hoping that if I could start the game fresh

The game would crash much less, would this maybe work?

Possibly, but with this game, it is a total gamble.

By the way, Steam never removes any user-added files. On any game, ever. If the game creates save files, config files, they remain. If you add mods, they remain. Steam only removes mods if they were added through the Workshop. (Granted, Steam tends to remove those mods even when the user does not ask it to, because Workshop is just bad.)

Would deleting all the files as they said really a good idea?

Deleting the mod files manually is the only way to really get rid of all the mods completely.

If you want to get rid of any ini tweaks, you'll have to get rid of the ini files as well.
