Is it easy to install YUP on steam's version of New Vegas?
If so, how is it done? Forgive the stupid question please.

Yes, and I just use FOMM + LOOT. Open FOMM, load up the .zip file via the archive manager, and enable it. LOOT is not necessary for this, but if you install several mods, it can help sort out the load order automatically for you.

This also works on linux, if anyone is curious.

So I used Nexus Mod Manager to install YUP. How can I tell in game if YUP is installed correctly? My load order is just New Vegas and all the normal DLC, follow by YUP.

As well, is there a way to disable certain DLC for a playthrough? As in to not have that content active?

I don't use NMM, so I can't say; but in FOMM, if it's checked, it's active. I think you can also open the fallout launcher and check the data files to see whether they are active.

Same way you handle the DLC, btw - Open the launcher, go to the data files, and uncheck DLC. That said - Double check YUM's requirements to see whether YUM itself needs the DLC before you disable them.

If it is checked in NMM, it is good. YUP is the easiest mod to install, really.

if your still using nmm your a little out of date, theyve switched over to vortex which tells you when your mods have errors so you dont get stuck so easily
