If I remember correctly, there is no sprint in vanilla New Vegas. Mods added it.
The vanilla game does not have sprint, that function was added in FO4 first as a base function (considering it is an FPS, while this game is a cRPG). You have to use mods to add sprint. (Although you can cross the entire map diagonally under 15 minutes, plus there is quick travel, so not like you spend much time travelling…)
ok i saw a youtube sprint in a vedio. He must of had a mod installed.
thanks
though I do understand when you go to melee an enemy with a gun and he runs away from you, while shooting at you as fast as you can approach him.
that....shouldn't be a thing.
New vegas was the first Bethesda engine game that actually slowed your backwards running speed, just not as significant as it should have. Fallout 3 or oblivion in comparison is 100% speed backwards while new Vegas is like 75%.
