Can't finish "Heartache by the number" quest
Hey guys, so i did like 99$% of this side quest, all i had to do was head to the Silver rush and kill Gloria Van graff, or as the quest states, make her ear her hair, i got there with Cass and killed everyone, but then nothing happens, the compass is pointing me to Gloria's dead body, and i can't talk to Cass because she'll automatically say that she's done hanging around with me and she'll leave, thus, failing this quest, i put a lot of effort on this quest and wasted plenty of ammo and supplies, what can i do?

It is a softlock in the quest. You can use the completequest command on it to cross it out of the PipBoy, but Cass will never recognise it as such.

Softlock? what do you mean? glitched quest? did i do something wrong?

Nah, it can happen. The quests in this game use complex scripts and the scripting engine is not really equipped to handle their complexity. It can randomly act up.

I jus watched a video of some dude finishing the quest, apparently all u have to do after u kill Van graff, is talk to Cass and the quest will be completed, but since she hates me, i don't have that option, is there a console command for relationship status?

She only hates you if your karma is low. Which is nigh impossible to do in New Vegas. Still, if you managed to do it, kill a dozen feral ghouls or Fiends and you should be good again.

Just killed a dozen Powder Gangers and managed to finish the quest, thank you for your help!
