False, remnants power armor beats both easily, and looks 10 times cooler.
It's not the worst, but the fire resistance doesn't come into play much, HP is nice, strenght aint important.
By that point when you go to the Long 15 you will already have power armor training or better armor than that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ salvaged NCR garbage.
T-51 is alright, it has lower DT and who would even wear the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ brotherhood armor? They are ♥♥♥♥♥. Though it somehow provides charisma and has a little bit higher radiation resistance, the DT from the Enclave remnants power armor beats it too.
So OP: Remnants power armor (if you use energy weapons use the Gannon version)>T-51>Sierra Madre power armor.
Also, the NCR scorched sierra power armor doesn't have a helmet either.
Scorched sierra armor doesn't have a helmet, so I wasn't taking it's power helmet into equation.
What I am trying to say is the DT outweights the SPECIAL strenght in both body armor and helmet.
First the helmet charisma doesn't matter in combat, and out of combat you just have to take it off if you think you'll have a check (even though there aren't many 100 speech checks anyway, and there aint any charisma checks if my memory serves me), and +1 strength from the armor doesn't really matter, and if you are going for melee weapons you can't see that big of a difference anyway, the DT beats it. The +10 rad resistance is admittedly pretty good, but you will still probably need a Rad X.
And imo, the remnants power armor looks badass, especially the energy weapons version, which loses some DT but it gives you alot of energy weapon damage, I use it all the time.
And again, even though you didn't argue about this, I just want to tell to the OP not to be concerned with the HP of the item, as by the point when they get this armor they are probably gonna be able to easily repair it, and IIRC the armor only loses HP if the damage actually goes through it's DT, so if the damage isn't higher than your overall DT, it won't matter.
