Ranger Armor Repair

Anybody know how to REPAIR NCR Ranger armor? Can it be done with regular combat armor? Please do not refer me to some obscure internet address. I just spent an hour looking through reams of repairing ranger armor that DID NOT TELL me how to rpair ranger armor.

Normally, only other ranger armour can repair it, plus vendors.
With jury rigging, anything classified as a medium armour will do.

Only other ranger armour (I'm pretty sure desert ranger armour works too). One of the ranger stations gets attacked at one point and if you go there there a ton of dead ncr guys, you may find ranger armour there.

Or get jury rigging, level 14 repair 90 required, then you can repair with any type of medium armour.

@psychotron666: Thank you for the specific information. That is where the ranger armor I found was, the base knocked out by Legion. I am busily getting revenge for the base. I have wiped out around 10 groups of Legion Assassination squads, plus 40 or 50 just regular troops of theirs. But I want a ranger to be wiping out their people. I think I'm within a level of getting jury rigging.

Major Knight at the Mojave outpost is good for reapairs if you're NCR friendly.

Jury rigging is a lvl 14 perk... But you need to have invested heavy in repair, you need 90 repair to select it. Probably my favorite perk in the game. Caravan shotguns become nothing more than spare parts.

If you hit up the fallout wiki, it gives you lists of what repairs what. Sadly, they have REALLY ANNOYING video ads.

Jyup, doesn't take too long. I'm only at lvl 10 and even passively repair is already at 90. Plenty of dead troops around the wasteland in mantle armor. Or if you're super rich, combat armor.
