What unforgivable stuff has Dean Domino done?

I was thinking of sparing him but I want to know if he is worth taking the trouble to download the mod to make him like me.

I guess it just depends on what ending you want for the DLC. Well the slideshow at the end I mean.

Dean essentially wanted to completely destroy someone's life just because they were happy. Essentially, Dean is one of the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥ in the Fallout universe.

From what I remember, Dean has a massive ego. You have to make him feel like he's the boss.

So yeah, not a super swell guy.

He does have an ending if you let him live tho.

He is a charming fellow, and one of the biggest villains in FNV.
Look what he did to Christine for example.

He's the stereotypical Hollywood producer who uses his connections and power to take advantage of young stars by getting them addicted to drugs (which he supplies) and sleeps with them.

It's a story that's been around as long as Hollywood has, and everybody was aware of these shady things (just look at all the Hollywood people who admit they knew about Harvey Weinstein) going on regularly since Hollywood began.

It's not just Hollywood though, predators like they are attracted to any position of power (politicians, sports coaches, etc).

Dean is just one of those predators.

And for 200 years he's been hanging around trying to get into that vault, instead of leaving.

He may be charming but once you start hearing about his past through the Sierra madre, he becomes less and less redeemable.

You can, you just can't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to him when you first meet. Telling him you'll break his legs so he has to do his part is a sure fire way of having him turn on you later.

Another problem is trying to use too many skill checks with him. I usually do the Speech skill check when first meeting, then avoid anything else which sounds intelligent. He gets jealous if you sound smart and acts as though you were trying to cheat him from the start, which is honestly not too much of a throw in the Fallout universe.

Thinking back on it now, I might just become friends with him next time I go to the Sierra Madre... Then shoot him right after chatting backstage. For some reason I REALLY hate the idea of him going to Vegas.
