Does anyone actually play any of the gambling mini games

I've done it a couple times and I've heard that if you're 'too lucky' the casinos will go after you. Does something actually happen if you win too much? For me it seems more like the characters don't even notice you won anything at all. Then again, I only at most get around 100 caps out of it, usually far easier to just go to the Fort, kill some legionaries and sell their gear for more.

The only thing that happens is that after you win a certain amount at a casino, that casino will no longer let you gamble there.

Being addicted to Psycho and Vodka I can say that being addicted to gambling is a good thing, though you will get kicked out of the casino gambling if you win too much.

Once you reach the point the casino says your not allowed to gamble, you will usually get a high roller reward. Usually this is your own private room in the casino, its worth the effort if you need storage space.

Gambling until you get kicked out nets you 5-10k caps per casino. You also progressively get rewards...usually it's junk like alcohol or pre war clothing, but one gives you a suit of combat armor mk2 and another gives you a stealth boy.

You can ez pz make tens of thousands of caps by gambling. With decent luck you can just spam E on the blackjack table. Although you won't be able to break the cap very much,

Say the cap limit in a casino is 15,000, I have 14,999 and I bet 200 caps on a single number on the roulette table I'd probably go above the cap by about 5k caps, but on blackjack and the slots you can't really do that very well

The games are heavily depending on your luck, they are not realistically randomised. If you have LU 10, you will lose some games, sure, but in general it will be impossible for you to not break the bank. The most extreme I had was actually instantly breaking the limit with one roulette bet, which sadly means skipping the small intermediate big winner awards and getting kicked immediately.

Otherwise, if you like video game slots or blackjack, they are not bad, as far as video casino games go.
Still, I like playing caravan for fun in New Vegas, there are better blackjack games out there.

Invest a lot of points into Luck, then play blackjack. Bet Max, save after every win

Don’t save after every win. With high luck it’s faster to just spam games. With low/medium luck it’s not worth the effort.

In the casinos I just black jack until I hit the limit.

if you start with 11 double down. otherwise just hit to 18+ or so.
