How do I get the 4gb patch working with NVSE and FOMM?

I don't see an option to launch FOMM with the 4gb patch since the 4gb patch is an exe it seems like if I launch with NVSE then the 4gb wont be applied

Add the 4gb patch manually, then run the game using the 4gb launcher; it will activate nvse automatically.

so copy and paste the 4gb files into the directory and then just run it?

Yeah, copy the exe and the dll into the main NV folder and run the gb exe. I'd recommend creating a shortcut and puitting it on your desktop. This fixed a couple of game-ending crashes using Vortex with New California.

Do you always have to start NV with the 4GB launcher, or only once?

I thought I had read once that the 4gb only had to be ran once and it patched the game but that could be wrong

Depends on which 4GB solution you use. the One that comes with a separate loader has to be run through that EXE all the time. The one that just patches FalloutNV.exe needs to be run once.

If you run the 4GB patch *that is listed on the Nexus page for NC* -

1. Extract that .exe into your FNV root folder.

2. Double click on that file.

3. Select your FNV .exe.

4. Profit.

Once done you can start the game from Steam and it will load NVSE if you have it installed properly.

I have tried and tried, but can't make it work. I have run the patch, but I don't see an .exe file anywhere.

The patch patches the game's EXE. Hence being a patch. You run it once and you are good, the game will be able to address the full 4GB memory space.
