How to get NCR fame

im currently on mixed fame with the ncr after doing the kings mission where you kill some ncr soldiers. now im up to yes man and fortification hill, now i want the ncr endgame but i dont think i can do it with my current ncr rep. how can i get more ncr rep?

Did you already met NCR ambassador in Vegas ? If the quest he gave to you still active, not failed. So you can still do the NCR ending.

If you've let Yes Man install himself into Houses computers there is no way you'll be able to side with the NCR.

There is a quest (I think it's called don't tread on the bear) that serves as an indicator of your progress with the NCR ending. If you get the quest, you are close to ruining it. If you fail the quest, you have progressed too far to finish with the NCR ending. You can check your quest log for that. As long as you are not hated to the point of being shot on sight, you can still keep doing NCR quests for fame. I think just doing their ending and nothing more is enough to get you to idolized if you earn no infamy

Pretty sure you can pickpocket NCR dogtags from the men near the fiends (or loot them off the corpses if the fiends kill them)

these can be turned in to the legion for legion fame (repeatable) or Quartermaster hayes at camp forlorn hope for NCR fame.

And yes, the various NCR camps have quests that increase NCR fame,
Camp Golf, Camp McCarran, Camp Forlorn Hope, Camp ...the one in the north east of the map.

INTENSE BOONE SPOILERS
I want to be accepted by the NCR not do the ending, (They freaking suck.) but I want to know Boone's full story, so I feel that questioning Silus, the Legionary at Camp McCarran, which is only a quest you can do if you're accepted.
(I'm a soft-hearted devil with the NCR.
