Fallout New Vegas NVSE not working
I have been searching around for an answer without having to post - but I am still having the same issue. My game is not crashing, but when it loads starting a new game I receive a popup saying that NVSE was not detected for one of my mods 'Project Nevada'.

I had initially dropped the folder into /data but have since moved it into the main folder with the NV loader - however when I click on the NVSE loader .exe the screen that then pops up states that it cannot locate fallout New Vegas - this makes me believe that something is in the wrong folder since it cannot be located.

I would appreciate any help on this issue

Thank you.

The NVSE folder has to be inside the Data folder. ie: Steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas/Data

Start the program from a shortcut to NVSE or start from Steam play.

Ok - I was reading other responses saying that it needed to be in the main folder/ not the data folder?

And it appears I have multiple NVSE folders in the /data folder for NV - would this be causing the issue?

I will try starting from steam and a shortcut.

Yeah I still having the same issue - mods stating in game that NVSE cannot be detected and if via the NVSE shortcut it states cannot find FalloutNV exe

In addition to my previous comment - since there are multiple NVSE files - are there older ones that can/ should be deleted - I am wondering if these are conflicting with the newer version?

and Thank you very much! :)
Read everything in the Read me. It tells you to copy two specific files into the very NV game folder, the one with the NV launcher, a .exe file., 'forgot the name sorry.
I personally use NMM, and NVSE shows in the upper left corner of NMM, and I launch NV from that NVSE tab in the open NMM.
