Nights way too dark
I'm using RWL and the nights are way too dark, is there any way to make them brighter?

Yes: Don't use something called REALISTIC Wasteland Lighting. Or add ElectroCity. Or any of the nightvision mods. Or switch it to Fellout, because I think it has an optional plug-in for slightly brighter nights.

Try additional file there, called "RWL - Brighter Nights"

Turn on your flashlight.

You could always just sleep at night.

It's a post-apocalyptic desert, dunno what you expected.

i use the clarity mod. It gets rid of the orange tint while making the nights darker, but not pitch black like other mods do. Look up Clarity mod i recommend it. It also works well on DLCs.

the game gives you copious amounts of cateye or ghost sight from sierra madre dlc.

If you are using project nevada many of the helmets carry night vision mods

>uses a mod called realistic wasteland lighting which one of the main features is to give darker nights

>asks why it's so dark at night and how to fix it

I have to disagree with the "realistic" stuff...

FNV takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe, where there's near no electricity, thus near no artificial light, thus near no light-pollution... which means in a dry desert like Mojave, which's sky is clear, you'll be enlightened with the light emited by the stars and the Moon (I know, Moon only reflects Sun's light)...

I live in a place where's there's near no light-pollution, and when the sky isn't cloudy, I can walk the open field at night with no real need for an artificial light, and when the Moon is full, it's almost as bright as if there have been street lamps.

Of course, if I'd walk in a forest, I won't see anything... but there's no forest in FNV...

And a game doesn't have to be as boring as real life you know... where does realism end ?

There quite nothing realistic in Fallout... I've never seen Hulk-like guys or Ghouls, somebody surviving a full grenade's explosion or a plasma burst etc...

I live in a place with little to no light pollution. When there's no moon, you can't see anything outside. On a full moon, or if there's lots of snow on the ground and a cloudy night, then you can see everything like it's day.
