Can you get a companion back after they leave?

So in New Vegas I had Boone as a companion, then killed some NCR soldiers, and now he left, is it possible to get him back or is there a command I could do to change my reputation with him?

Try getting back into neutral rep with NCR and then go talk to him in novac.

Technically, yes. It needs a lot of console use and digging for variables and quest stages.
So, practically, no. Your best bet is reloading an older save file.

Always murder someone with stealth kill; melee & unarmed, suppressed firearms with sneak attack - that way Companions will give 0 f**ks to your cold blooded murder.

I wiped out the whole NCR soldiers in Mojave Outpost with Boone at my back with this method. The way how stealth kill works in this game is ridiculous.
