Pick either of these and do whatever they say up until the end of bug fixes.
You can use FOMM instead of MO2 as they suggest.

I do have FOMM (which is called Fallout Mod Manger on my desktop) but can I get MO2 with FOMM or can I only have one?

Try to use only one of those. It is not a good idea to mix mod managers unless you really know what you are doing. Since you obviously lack experience on how mods work internally on this engine, stick to FOMM, it is newbie-friendly enough.

playing the game in windowed mode also helps, well in my case anyways.
this helped me stop crashing outdoors a bit as for some reason it rendered things more smoothly:

This helps as well as it prevents the game from having to load in junk and being a bit more stable

Is your NVSR in the right spot btw? Should be in your Data folder and thehn NVSE folder, then Plugins. And you're running the patched version of your game through mod manager, right? ''New Vegas'' not ''Fallout Launcher''
