When Weapons are confiscated, where do they go?

In the Tops casino, my wepaons were confiscated yet I attacked a memeber of staff and didn't recieve them when I left.
Is there a manuel collection area?

In a crate in the room with the Cashier.

Or a hidden safe. They go to a container, in general, which is sometimes in a place you can access with some sneaking, sometimes it is hidden in the blue void under/near the map.
