Ideally you want to start a lane with either a very high or very low value card.
Use Kings to double a cards value to either help yourself or screw over your opponent. (Particularly the latter. The AI is very inept at dealing with it before it's too late.)
Use Jacks to remove a card from a lane to accomplish much of the same.
Use Queens to reverse the direction of a lane.
Don't bother with Jokers generally.
Probably the easiest strategy is to have a deck only made of (7)-8-9-(10)-J-K, this way you can always get a 24-26 stack with 3 cards.

It took me actual hours to get the achievement. But I did it following this strictly.
A lot of caps in the early game and experience whenver you complete a Caravan challenge.
Player did a great job at explaining the basics though.
=============
Is that something you do at the table?
I buy cards every playthrough and stll never can figure out how to play the thing or sort my cards.
It's pretty sad since I can hold my own in the real-world Vegas. :D
P.S. I'll check the video out, too.
