Bullet lead or hitscan?
Hello,is there bullet drop in fallout new vegas or is it just hitscan.Im talking about long range ofc.

there is both... normal bullets i would say hitscan.. but if you take plasma weapon the projectile fly trough the air and could miss because of that. then again rockets also flies. and grenades for the grenade launchers is not hitscan either.

If you VATS, then bullet trajectory is calculated. Outside, it is debated. To my knowledge, it is still trajectory-based, only normal guns shoot the ammo a lot faster than what is realistic, so it is essentially hitscan with a random element in the hit area. Still, there are mods that affect bullet trajectories and they seem to work outside VATS. Plus when I use modded zoom and much larger actor render distances, shooting over 500 meters has a very obvious delay between pulling the trigger and the enemy reacting.
