Big MT Nightstalker problem
For some reason, I find the Nightstalkers harder to kill than their Mojave counterparts. Yes, I am aware they can turn invisible that they seem to be more buffed: more health and stronger attacks.

Hell, when I use the Avenger against their Mojave siblings, they drop down fast. But in Big MT? I go through about 2 reloads and 6 stimpaks just to kill 3 of them.

Is this a bug or gameplay mechanic? I read the wiki page but found nothing.

Game mechanic, DLC enemies are usually sturdier than the base game ones.
Still, nightstalkers are the easiest problem in OWB. A simple perk negates them entirely.

The deathclaw you fight in Lonesome Road dlc is the easiest thing to kill in that whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dlc...

Bro I destroyed the X-42 Giant Roboscorpion with an AP loaded Avenger while buffed on Med-X and Psycho in less than 6 seconds!

Believe me, I was also confused.

Not sure if sarcasm or a warning on how hard that DLC is...

All Night stalkers have 0 DT.
At long range - silenced sniper rifle + .308 HP (or JSP) ammo.
At medium - Laser RCW + Laser Commander and overcharged cells.
At CC - Riot shotgun + And Stay Back + Shotgun Surgeon (for Deathclaw and others).
At 40+ lvls lobotomites with .45-70 weapons or harness with top heavy energy weapons are a bigger threat.

The death claws in that DLC can 2 shot you if you laugh at them. And Rawr is not meant to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with. First time I encountered him he one shot me while wearing elite riot gear.

OWB Night Stalkers can be tough
Go for leg cripples to gimp their speed, it's best if you can get the first strike on them with strong explosives when they're in a group to cripple many at once
or bait them into a big mine or c4 trap

Splitting a group of them into crippled and non-crippled makes it much easier

You can avoid OWB stalkers alltogether except one. Dont travel directly W to X13, go via Big MT West tunnel, then hug the walls and use a stealth boy if needed.
Also, when going to X8, approach from the S via Higgs village, not from the N, which has stalker swarms, I'd rather fight super-ego than a bunch of stalkers

Thanks. I always go in a straight line when travelling to places.
