Missing master file. [PROBLEM SOLVED]

I've had this for a couple of days and I decided to install FNVEdit and it says that there is a
Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Code: 2.
The system cannot find the file specified>

This is the where the error shows in the FNVEdit:

I'm not sure what it's saying that I'm missing.

It looks to me like it's saying you're missing Afterschool Special.esm from your load order.

You have the patch for FCO that makes it compatible with Afterschool Special, only you don't seem to have the actual Afterschool Special installed. Hence the patch is actually not even needed.

I've noticed that there were files like this one in red when I checked the Nexus Mod Manager so I unchecked them and it fixed my problem! But I have no idea why the "After School special" was even there in the first place as I don't remember ever installing that.

Would it be reccomendable if I were to install these mods in red?

Afterschool Special is a quest mod, it lets you build the Goodsprings Schoolhouse into a working player home. FCO simply made a compatibility patch in case you have both. Since you don't have AS, you did the right thing by disabling this patch.
