How did Fallout NV not get GOTY?

Its funny how Fallout NV never got GOTY, and its arguablly the most liked by the community for a couple of years, but Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 got GOTY but its been ♥♥♥♥ on (Not as much as Fallout 4 recently though) by the community. What other games came out when New Vegas was released? What won the GOTY?

What, because of it's graphics? Because I sure don't think its because they are at the same quality as an rpg, if its true tho, i dont want to live anymore

probably because of the graphics tbh, b/c besides that, almost everything is different between 3 and NV

Because GOTY is generally just a title they slap on anything these days to sell the base game with all DLC. That and Bethesda probably being petty as ♥♥♥♥ knowing NV is better than 3 and 4 :V

GOTY awards are bought and not earned. Bethesda usually pays for the games they made.
Also, the peasant versions of New Vegas are barely playable to this day and most game awards are meant for the peasants who are still gullible enough to be fooled by such pretty badges.

More, actually, a lot more, but NV had more major glitches, whereas FO3 was chock full of small ones.
