FNV not starting up properly

Using FNV4GB, NVSE.

Uninstalled DarnUI, installed Vanilla UI Plus.
FNV starts but gets stuck on "Please Stand By" screen.

If nothing works, try removing mods one at a time before each game session in order to isolate the mod that's causing this.

Disabling BGP causes the game to hang at the Obsidian logo.

Okay, so whatever problem is going on is around DarN UI. When I reinstall it the game works like normal. When the files for DarN UI are deleted, the game hangs at "Please Stand By"

Mathematically and under normal circumstances. But FalloutNV.esm's order ID is around 130 instead of 00, so the actual mod limit for this game is around 120-130. You are overmodded, plain and simple.

Can confirm. I didn't get stuck at the "Please Stand By" screen, but whenever I hit 132-133 mods or so, the game itself started freaking out—not properly loading textures, completely unrendered nearby terrain, etc. I have over 200 mods on Skyrim, so it's not my PC; it's just an inherent limit within FNV itself.

i see the problem in YUP. bad mod most incomatible can ruin the game

Project Nevada and Sprint Mod Conflict

YUP and Better Game Performance Conflict

ZAN AutoPruge disable it it can break much the Game

Create the Merge Mods self?

YUP and World of Pain Conflict

YUP and Interio Lightning Overhaul Conflict



Sort your Load Order


Mod Limit is 130 and its only for Plugins ESP/ESM files not for textures

So despite lowering mod count, disabling conflicting mods, what fixes it is reinstalling DarN UI. If I try to uninstall it, it crashes the game. I could revert the INI changes, delete ANY files associated with DarN, install any different kind of UI mod, but it still hangs at "Please Stand By"

guess im stuck with DarN UI.

It is a good UI mod. :)
(And YUP is actually fully compatible with everything, despite what you read above. It is the least intrusive set of fixes for this game to this date.)
