I love new vegas and the first two a lot as well, I'm just saying that they act like that. I don't really like most changes but I just try to accept it.

I just looked it up, you're not wrong when you see how bad they try make Fallout 4 to be. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a good fallout game but damn, it was a fun game despite losing it's rpg touch.

Never been to NMA, but yes, I dislike changes to the game formula that grossly simplified the rpg mechanics in favor of Shooting Monsters and building Ego Monuments.

I actually do agree that they should make it more of an rpg

That seems like generalization to me. Most people there are pissed about changes for the worse, meaning the simplification and "streamlining" of RPG elements and Bethesdas poor writing skills. There's a certain aura of negativity around that place, but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. For the most part they're probably just really dissapointed.

NMA's fierceness and anti-Bethesda stance is vastly exaggerated. Check out RPGcodex for the real deal.

Also, NMA doesn't actually play the games. Not the new ones, not the old ones. If you ask them what the lore weight of a pancor jackhammer is, sure enough, someone will answer, but if you ask them why the F2 .44 revolver gets to have a base damage of 11+d6, an action point bonus, and 2/1 ammo that's freely available and cost 25 caps less than a stack of basic ass 10mm bullets, then they won't have a clue what you're talking about.

Well, maybe because that revolver seems to be rare as hell? I played FO2 for years before I accidentally found one in Frisco. Granted, after that, I tend to see it pop up as early as the Den, but mostly the game is full of the Desert Eagle.

Some folks really hate NMA for some reason. I've checked out their site a few times. From what I could tell they weren't that bad.

They are conservative purists mostly because they have been around for ages. No, they are not that bad, but they are also quite set in their mindset.
