Follows chalk is supposed to kill a white leg who's shooting at you, but because he's right behind the white leg, you can mistake him for an enemy easily.
Most people realize they screw up when a giant "quest failed" appears and a new quest called "chaos in zion" pops up, that's when you'd usually reload your game.
Of course you can skip the whole dlc by just killing everyone like you did.
I think everyone killed him XD
Of course when I goy the quest failed thing i was like wtf and reloaded cus I knew I screwed up something somehow.
At first I thought it was because the happy trails guys died. So I tried to save them by killing all the enemies, which I did, but then the happy trails people heads just started blowing off for no reason, that's when i realized you couldn't save them no matter how good you were cus it was scripted.
Because it's all in the timing. Glad you got to see him.murdering your enemy. Most people, like myself saw two tribals standing there on the hill and a hail of gunfire hitting me coming from them. It's no wonder that so many people accidentally kill an ally.
No, I've also never killed him, either on accident or purpose, and I go in there with remnant's power armor, fat mines, and BOZAR.
And I was role-playing a survivor who kills my enemies . When a hail of gunfire is coming from a hill where two tribals are standing (And the only tribals I've met so far have tried to kill me), it stands to reason I'd shoot at them both.
Like I said above, it depends on the timing. Sometimes the white leg doesn't shoot at you as soon, so when he starts shooting you see two of them standing almost side by side. It's not a far stretch to assume they are together in the heat of the moment.
Especially if you're like me and rarely use vats so you don't even see their names or notice a difference in clothing.
Between the compass clearly indicating Neutral and Foe and Chalk not appearing until you've actually crossed the bridge, I've also never accidentally killed him.
