The Divide!
So I just got done completing the main story and all the DLC other than the Divide. I've played through this game and the dlc several times but never the divide. Anyone have any tips on how I should handle things and prep before going in? Thanks!

It's basically the "final boss level" of new vegas. A gauntlet of scenic roads, enemies, and a really tough dude you confront at the end. There are commisarries where you can restock along the path, and you can return to the Mojave any time you want. That's good, cause pretty much all the enemies there are capable of messing you up really, really badly.

At least its not too easy. Sounds like a fitting end

You should probably be about level 30-40 before starting it.

It is a combat-heavy DLC but the enemies are actually not that bad: they are just common humanoids with a very aggressive AI. You can dispatch them as easily as any hit squad, only you need a bit more damage.
The problem comes from the tunneller enemies which can poison you easily, and there are a few places with strong deathclaws. High-damaging weapons are advised, sniping can be beneficial.

Make sure to have decent explosives skill as you will encounter claymore traps.
Bring either enough caps or anti-radiation meds since the actual big enemy is that the entire thing is full of radiation.
Get ready to babysit a floating junk heap all through the DLC. It is immortal, but the level geometry is super complicated and it loves to get stuck.

Ah alright. I have a lot of rad resistance through armor and what not also Ill make sure to equip a good sniper and maybe combat shotgun. I'm gonna go head first into this tonight so all the tips I get are very appreciated. :)

Snipers are not the best for Lonesome Road. You'd be better off being able to send a lot of bullets downrange. Some enemies will show up right in front of you, so having either a shotgun or a weapon with a good fire rate will suffice. As for some of the more armored enemies, try packing a Battle Rifle or a Marksman Carbine. There will be flashbangs and flare guns that you might find in the Divide. They're very important for keeping the deadlier creatures at bay, as they will temporarily drive off most abominations.

I think deathclaws are tougher in LR.

Get 10s in all specials and high skills (80+). There will be a lot of skill checks in dialogue to pass. Though at 48 you should be good.
