I don't see how someone "just" puts the cube on the button or does not use the angled panel. The map is easy, but I can't see the exploit(s). I also think that some people overcomplicated the solution by using the autoportal button in an on-off way in order to speed up the cube, which obviously makes it an unreliable ninja solution ^^

I'm very confused, I think I did it wrong? I just put the cube on the button, went into the orange portal room and just portaled to the exit. Was this correct? Am I god? I'm confused

Nice and refreshing!

Nice one and I agree with @Miami Mike, but some are obviously trying a different method to solve.

tu7650x - No advanced skills are needed, nor is any timing required. The test has a simple, straightforward solution.

very nice!

Yes, a simple map but for which advanced skills are required: essentially an incremental momentum cube pendulum remotely controlled by precisely timed player movements. Thank goodness for F6 and F7.

Fun... a little tricky with the cube fling!

Short, but smart. And the angled panel is helpful simply as a hint.
Miami Mike 22 maja 2015 o 18:59
Like Chelliste says, you don't need the angled panel.

Beautiful elegant simple

Easier than most of Azorae's maps. I was surprised when I got to the top level that it ended there. I think I solved it in an unintended way because I didn't need the angled portal surface at all.

Azorae you sick sick individual.
Don't ever change.

I found this chamber extremely frustrating for two reasons: the cube always seems to be falling just out of reach of the portal's edge, and walking back and forth between the cube reset button and the orange portal switch button is boring as hell. Great idea for a chamber, but a fairly unforgiving setup for it.

Nice monoportal puzzle ^^ Not too hard for me, but maybe this is because I played Gig's monoportal maps before this :p

Oh, I finished this without having to come back to it. Wow. Maybe my brain thinks better in mono versus stereo. Makes sense. Fewer variables.

Cool!

Your hard to solve maps are way more fun

Always takes me some time to "adapt" to mono! Nice one!
Please try lone of mine and comment. Thanks.

The material that is preventing you from leaving the orange portal room needs to look a little diffrent, i thought it was glass!
awesome map though! really cool consept

Don't be sorry, feedback and constructive criticism is always welcome. I can always just make the entire floor of that area portalable.
Woodbeam 28 października 2012 o 16:15
Is it possible to lower the dispenser enough that the cube can't bounce far when it lands? Sorry to be a complainer; I love your maps!
Bill Ding  [autor] 28 października 2012 o 15:47
woodbeam: Yeah, that's a minor problem but it's built into the nature of the map, so I can't really do anything about it.

AD_79: Sure, you can add it in there. I may make more substantial ones in the future; this was just to test out some BEEMod stuff.
Woodbeam 28 października 2012 o 15:44
What a great concept. One bit of annoyance though: if the cube doesn't come out of the dispenser in such a way that it can be dropped perfectly onto the alternate orange portal surface, it has to be manually placed. Just a small thing.

Cool! Hey, do you want me to add this to my collection of one portal maps? Gig's MonoPortal maps are there.
Mathey2009 28 października 2012 o 12:17
I don't know if i solved it the intended way goven that in the map's description u state that the final move requires some quick portaling, and i didnt use any quick portaling in the final move, actually more in the middle of the puzzle.
Great map anyways.

I had much fun solving this one ... I like how you used the beemod in a simple way, not overloading the chamber with lots of elements (because you can) but simply with good logical puzzles (even if they were a bit easier). Thanks!

Nice one again

AWESOME MAP.
