This map is now official map in the game and was featured in Scream Fortress VII
(pl_millstone_event)

Welcome to Halloween 2015! Millstone has been haunted and turned to Hellstone! This time you won't teleport into hell (a lie). You push the ghost cart into the hell! Help the friendly ghost to get there! Meet also the horrors from the past halloweens and join the fun!

Map features, to mention some:

- Pumpkin bombs (ka-boom)
- Spells (you're a wizard Hairy)
- Ghosts (boo)
- Horseless Headless Horsemann! (HHH is mad again)
- Horseless Headless Horsemanns Headtaker (Off with ye heads!)
- More ghosts (more boo)
- Monoculus! (aye, the demomans eye)
- Use the monoculus teleport to get some goodies
- Mystery place, once you teleport using monoculus exit
- Hell, once you kill the monoculus
- More monoculus! (he's twice as mad)
- Skeletons

This map is genuinely awful and needs major reworks.
You can't defend the cart because of the ghost, so if you need to hug the cart to stop it, you can't fight back. This makes RED have a genuinely awful disadvantage and forces you to use specific cosmetics to avoid being scared. A map should not force me to use a cosmetic, just replace it with Blutarch or Redmund.
Multiple bosses can spawn in at the same time. This bugs out the health bar, and since there's also rare spells, that means you can be fighting a Monoculus, a Monoculus spell, and the HHHH all at the same time. Also, 2 monoculus can spawn at the same time.
Chokepoint after chokepoint. There's some open areas, but if you have a demo with a pocket and sticky spam, you can lock down a choke, or just spamming enough pyros down one area can force a move. Engineers have little use due to this since the sentry has no safe spots excluding one on CP2.

This map needs either a major rework or removal, Hallowen =/= xD chaos

You should be ashamed yourself for creating quite possibly the worst map in the entire game. Please never contribute to anything else ever again.

Correction on the first comment, I think Chilly is pretty good, I just don't like the giant presents on the roofs. The map was actually pretty fun which I think helps with my theory that your maps are good when you don't stuff them with halloween things.

Based on my experience playing your maps that are in the game already, I think that you should focus more on making your maps unique and detailed rather than as halloweeny as possible. I know you have put in some unique gimmicks on some of your maps, such as the cart going in a random direction or the ghosts with crit explosives in the underworld, but a lot of people don't understand those gimmicks, and they don't bring an overall unique theme. I think that if you toned down the amount of halloween stuff and put more thought into where you do use halloween stuff, your maps could be a lot more fun to play on.

Your regular, non-halloween maps aesthetically look quite nice (I haven't played them on a community server or anything so I can't comment on the gameplay), but your halloween maps really do seem like you just mass retextured the floor and walls and then crammed in as many halloween assets as you could. I've seen you raise the argument in the comments that this was one of the first maps in the game, but your new maps have the same problem (granted, Erebus was my favourite map of yours that I've played, but at the same time Terror and Chilly were my least favourite).

One of the worst maps in this game. You should feel ashamed for making it. It's nothing but chokes and bosses that spawn too much. I would honestly rather play wutville than this shit.

You're comparing Hellstone to maps that have 5 years apart of release. Its a learning process also for the community and people who make maps. The first maps were experimenting by everyone. I do maps that i like to play and that time this map came out as it did. Would i do another map like Hellstone today? Yes. Would it be as chaotic at it is now? Propably not.

If you have played map like Brimstone for example, like i did next year 2016 it does have coffins that open up to the underworld. So yes theres improvements and new ideas coming up every year. If you play the more recent maps of mine like Erebus or Midnight, theres not even bosses in it in the main world, just again portals to underworld where there is a slight surprises in both of the maps.

As stated, when game gets older, the more enhanced the maps will be. Thanks for your feedback.

You don't have to have a map be chaotic in order for it to be Halloween-like. Moldergrove has the 3v3 arena mode that activates when the control point changes hands. Megalo has the ghost train that appears every so often, what made that map unique is each time the point changes hands, it moves up and down.

Instead of having to include all these chaotic Halloween bosses which halt the game's progress, why not try something like having certain spots on the map open up portals to the underworld when a point is captured? Believe me when I say that people really do not like needing to stop pushing the cart because the horsemann ran up behind them and sliced their head off? Also the final point having literally 2 of the same boss is just a downright insult for Payload players.
