I'm going to state some things about "The Isle" because if your thinking about getting this game, you've probably also heard of "The Isle" or maybe you own that already. The reason for this is that i think that comparing this to other dinosaur survival games would be more accurate in determining if it was a worthwhile investment.
Things i think it does better than the isle:
-Map (The Isle's maps are so big and most of the space is unused)
Traits, Scent, Weather, Communication System, Flight

I really do like the premise of the stat system. Where you get buffs and debuffs from certain environmental conditions, i just think a lot of them seem really dumb. For instance, simply being near a larger dinosaur for long enough just kills you because stress I guess. If anything, it seems right if a buff were given instead, like maybe adrenaline giving you a speed boost to attempt escape from a larger faster creature. I think that water getting stale from drinking from a certain place for too long is kinda dumb, but i guess it incentives people to move around so.

Scent is good in this game, it actually allows you to judge how far a corpse is away. Flight is pretty good, the idle flight could be faster but eh not my biggest beef. Controls are easy to get a hang of. Plenty of channels for communication with others. Weather is mostly fantastic i have to say, i have yet to see a wild fire but i think its a dope concept in theory. Maps aren't overly large like the isle's.

That being said, it still suffers from the same things the isle does, namely growth times and kosing.
I could go on and on why i fundamentally believe growth times exceeding 2 hours make the game too punishing, annoying, frustrating when killed and ultimately boring because it forces you to wait hours to actually play the full game. There are friendly servers if your into that. I'd just prefer a better balanced overall game or better yet, a game where server admins can set growth times and other various things. Maybe i'm wrong about all of this and just retarded.

Anyways,
Thanks for reading and ♥♥♥♥ kosers

If there's something strange
In your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!

If there's something weird
And it don't look good
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!

I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost

If you're seeing things
Running through your head
Who can you call?
Ghostbusters!

An invisible man
Sleepin' in your bed
Ow, who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!

I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost

One of the only horror games a non-horror game fan can enjoy.

There are many things great about this game from the ghost variety to the atmosphere, but for me the thing that makes this for me is the multiplayer. Thats what makes this game, thats what makes it fun. The fact that you can work with your friends to be the ghostbusters (not exactly) is just a completely new thing for me and I am really enjoying it.

Worth full price. And thanks to mein friend for getting this for me.

25 hours later, still fun.

Quick Overview: Favors the experienced player and the learning curve is the steepest you will find anywhere in a game, making it unfun because you lose 90 percent of fights, not to mention it doesn't run extremely (lag) well leading to you losing fights for dumb reasons. 90 percent of the community is toxic, unfriendly and elitist.
4/10

Edit:

Positives:
- Good Graphics/gore is satisfying.
- They tried doing something different with combat than games like chivalry and mount and blade.

Negatives:
- Faking or Feigning is quite possibly the stupidest mechanic i've ever seen in a game, players who are good at using it win 100 percent of fights. It's not fun to play against, It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded mechanic and has no place here the way it is.
- Nothing but greatsword and polearm spam.
- laggy even with a good connection.
- terrible field of view options makes it so you can't judge the range of anything accurately.
- blocks don't work sometimes.
- steep learning curve. (I have never seen a steeper learning curve)
- Slowish progression.
- Unbalanced teams constantly. (I have never seen a more unbalance game)
- The way combat is handled in this game is just so clunky it makes it so stale.
- Tutorial is lacking to say the least.
- While i have met some helpful players in 1v1, the community is like a cod lobby, its cancer.
- Starting out, combat feels overwhelming and just odds stacked against you.

Overall:
Some people prolly really like it. I've tried to get into it, but the fighting system just is very off putting and overall not fun, half the time you die it feels like it was a game fluke, like that bastard sword magically added a foot to its length just to hit you.

Old review:

Probably will continue to play for at least 50 hours before giving a final review.

As of this very moment this game is infuriating hard, unfair and culminates in utter confusion.

The tutorial is alright i guess, it really only shows you the moves and stuff. Not what other weapons like polearms do.
Games do not have auto balance as far as I can see, already i have participated in several games with uneven player counts.
There is no real guide for armor or other gear outside of the tutorial. There are really no tips outside the tutorial anyway.
Timing, TIMING, no single movement can go without timing.
Ducking LAGGING punkass players.
I cannot for the life of me configure the controls,

You'd probably just disregard this review and say that i'm bad and thats fair. I cannot lie though no other game i've tried has had a steeper learning curve than this.

New update is garbage, stop making dumb random events that screw the entire game its annoying and not fun.

Paradox fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher and stop breaking the mods when you update the game.

Got from a good friend.

Pretty fun so far, just can't recommend right now because it has a very poorly designed launcher that crashes constantly due to "multiple game clients" which is bs. I've talked to the staff and nothing they've said has worked so far. I will update this review when it is dealt with LIKE IT SHOULD BE BY NOW.

TOTAL NO

Simple reason, too many modders/griefers. Multiple in nearly every lobby.

The rest of the review was from way long ago and isn't relevant but here it is:

it's good with friends, especially when they help you get a headstart. As far as online goes, it's a bunch of buttheads killing everyone they can over and over again, totally not fun for new players because they lose always, every time, like me. Once in a while you'll get a session with fair people that will leave you alone, but for the most part, this game is full of buttholes that kill you every time you spawn. Don't bother with DLC either.

10/10 Best team shooter ever period, but lets be honest, no one likes you sniper mains.

Edit:

Sense the time i have posted this review a recent wave have bot accounts and cheaters have really destroyed this game's fun for me, not that they weren't there before but the shear amount of bots inhabiting tf2 right now is like those goldfish tanks at petsmart. Other than that it's still a good game provided your team is competent. Skill gap is also pretty big. There are a lot of times where new players just get steamroled by more experienced players thinking their hotsh!t. It's almost like smurfing actually and the excuse I get is the "Get Gud" remark. Sticky bomb launcher needs a nerf along with sniper rifles. Some snipers are so good they just ruin games and regardless whether it's skill or not, it's not fun to play against them (lots of player snipers use hacks today and hide them). Also valve's complete lack of doing anything is super infuriating as well.

♥♥♥♥ Bots (except anti-bot bots)

♥♥♥♥ Cheaters

♥♥♥♥ Valve

♥♥♥♥ people who say "ez" at the end of a game
