The hitboxes and gunplay in this game are so incomprehensibly bad, but not difficult, that anyone who disagrees is so incompetent at shooters that whether or not every bullet does what it's supposed to is irrelevant to how poorly they perform. You will burst fire rounds into an enemies head and get two hit markers at most, and the fact that it isn't the first bullet that hits means that prolonged burst fires of 5 or more rounds are preferable to the normal 3.

If you're someone who enjoys consistently functional gameplay then you wont enjoy this, Clear Sky was a better sequel in the Soviet Mutated Wasteland genre.

Important tip I forgot, so I'm editing it in at the start. Alt tabbing during the developer/publisher cutscenes skips an otherwise unskippable sequence.

Had a few issues, especially when a 'cutscene' in real time required me to wear a gas mask - and mine happened to need a new filter the instant before we crossed the level transition - softlocking me... otherwise, excellent. World collisions (for bullets) can be a bit questionable at times but not overwhelmingly problematic, but combat feels consistently good if a little bipolar. For the most part ammo and money wont be a problem, even if you aren't meticulously combing over every inch of the map, but sometimes it will have bursts of almost overwhelming amounts of enemies.

If you're someone who enjoys S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the oppressive atmosphere might not have the exact same level of tension nor open world design, but it fills the hole well enough.

I was sleeping on a ledge in the middle of a sheer-cliff rope climb on my way to the summit of Timberwolf Mountain and got woken up by a bear mauling me, destroying my crampons.

10/10 I've bought the DLC and I'm addicted. Help.

Stop. Making. Me. Watch. Cutscenes. Where. My. Character. Does. Nothing.

If it's something that my character should obviously interrupt the people doing something, let me actually interrupt it. Don't make me watch the chosen of the dead three summon the absolute in front of a bottomless pit when I have eldritch blast and can push people at range. Don't make me watch some true soul kill someone without being able to stop him no matter what I do before the cutscene. Don't make me watch some shapeshifter pretend to be Jaheira and teleport away with a mind controlled Minsc when I have a wizard with counterspell.

Best game in the series/10. Also it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy some times. Hold tab at all times.

60 FPS lock, input delay + queued inputs, inconsistent matchmaking with invaders, hunters, and summons all seemingly randomly disconnecting mid-session, imbalanced weapons and spells all clearly untested by anyone at From Software.

I'm still going to play it for unhealthy amounts of time though...

If it wasn't for that pesky soul memory, this would be a 10/10.

The greatest equipment diversity, the greatest amount of fashion, the greatest variety of locations, and some of the most ambitious creativity as far as game design goes in any souls title. I-Frames being tied to a skill you level up is only an issue if you suck.

Good game. DS2: SOTFS is still better, though.

The amount of bugs I have experienced in this game make the seeming improvements through updates worthless. If you consider buying this game, don't. The developers should be blacklisted from ever creating another degenerate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like this.

Never got slayer keys after completing the challenges, not going to waste any time on a completely broken game.
